No Booze News 📈:
The Olympics new sponsor is making history

You’re in disbelief: You mean to tell me the first ever beer sponsor for the Olympics is a NA beer?! Yes, that is exactly what we are telling you.
The reality: Corona Cero is the official beer sponsor for the 2024, 2026, and 2028 Olympic games. They recently launched their “For Every Golden Moment” campaign to create some hype around the brand leading up to the games.
Why this matters: AB InBev’s CEO said it best, “Beer and sports are better together. This partnership illustrates the opportunity for our category to positively impact and engage with billions of fans around the world.”
The Bottom Line: This market is booming and billions of viewers are going to get a taste for its potential during the Olympics.
Here is to the NA Rocket Ship 🚀🚀

They’re one of us 🤝:
Victoria Secret supermodel no longer cares about peer pressure

Gisele Bündchen no longer cares if people peer pressure her to drink socially and is going to have her mint tea instead 🍵
At the same time, she doesn’t care if they want to drink and won’t make them feel bad as she believes it’s “their temple.”
The point: Giselle clearly lays out a situation we all experience when it comes to drinking in a social setting: getting peer pressured to join in on the fun. Her statement in the below video empowers us to make our own decisions.
@jamesswanwick Gisele Bündchen explains why she gave up alcohol! #sobertok #gisele #model #sobriety #noalcohol
The takeaway: We can all use a little bit of Giselle’s mindset in our own lives. Its a powerful reminder to not let others dictate what we put in our bodies.

Wait, but why? 🤔:
Why does N.A. beer help me recover after working out?

The gist: Non-alcoholic beer isn't just for those avoiding alcohol—it can actually help with workout recovery. Here's why you might consider reaching for one after your next session at the gym.
Why it helps:
Rehydration: Non-alcoholic beer is about 90-95% water, making it a great hydrating option. Proper hydration is crucial for muscle recovery and overall performance.
Electrolytes: Non-alcoholic beer contains electrolytes like potassium and sodium, which help replenish those lost through sweat. This supports muscle function and prevents cramps.
Carbohydrates: The carbohydrates in non-alcoholic beer help replenish glycogen stores in muscles, providing energy and aiding recovery.
Polyphenols: These antioxidants, found in hops and malt, reduce inflammation and oxidative stress in muscles, speeding up recovery and reducing soreness.
Low alcohol content: With little to no alcohol, non-alcoholic beer avoids the dehydration effects and other negative impacts on muscle recovery that regular beer can cause.
The bottom line: Non-alcoholic beer combines hydration, electrolytes, and beneficial nutrients to support and enhance your post-workout recovery. Next time you finish a tough workout, consider grabbing a cold one—not just for the taste, but for the recovery benefits too.

Event Spotlight 🧗🏼♀️:
Rock Climbing is the perfect social activity

The overview: Rock climbing isn't just a thrilling way to stay fit—it's also an incredible way to socialize and a fantastic alternative to drinking. Here's why you should consider it for your next hangout.
3 Reasons Why:
Built-in community: Climbing gyms and outdoor climbing spots foster a strong sense of community. You'll meet people who share your passion and support each other in achieving goals.
Teamwork and trust: Climbing often involves partners and group climbs, requiring communication and trust. This builds deeper connections than typical social activities.
Healthy lifestyle: Instead of meeting for drinks, climbing sessions promote a healthier lifestyle. You get the benefits of exercise, stress relief, and endorphin boosts—all without the negative effects of alcohol.
The bottom line: Rock climbing is a dynamic, healthful, and fun way to socialize. It brings people together, fosters trust and teamwork, and offers a refreshing alternative to the usual social scene. Next time you're planning a get-together with co-workers or your friends, think about heading to the climbing gym or hitting the rocks outdoors.
